Start close to home
Before you build an itinerary, take a short walk around your hotel. Notice where people stop for coffee, which streets feel inviting and what changes as the morning unfolds. The best introduction to a city is often the one you find without a plan.
Choose one anchor for the day
A gallery, a market or a long lunch gives your day a shape without filling every hour. Leave space on either side to follow a recommendation or take the scenic way back. Check opening hours and transport before heading out.
Leave something for next time
A good weekend does not need to include everything. Choose the experiences that interest you, enjoy them properly and let a few discoveries wait. Having a reason to return can be part of the pleasure.
Until the next discovery.
