Bali’s coast invites a landscape-led itinerary; Ubud offers a different balance of art, village visits and green surroundings. Around Lake Kawaguchi, leave room for the lake as well as the mountain. In Cappadocia, give valley routes and village streets as much consideration as sunrise plans.
